Please Note: This is a Custom Order. Your rug is not pre-made. It will be woven individually by master artisans in the Atlas Mountains upon placement of your order. Please allow a production lead time of 4-6 weeks for your unique piece to be crafted, washed, dried in the Moroccan sun, and prepared for shipment.

Authenticity cannot be rushed. Each rug is hand-knotted on traditional looms by Berber women whose techniques have been passed down through generations. By choosing a made-to-order piece, you are directly supporting these artisan communities and ensuring that the ancient craft of Beni Ourain weaving thrives. Because every rug is crafted individually by hand, slight variations in size, color dye batches, and pattern alignment are inherent, contributing to the one-of-a-kind character of your textile.
Material and Design
Crafted from 100% natural wool sourced from local Atlas Mountain sheep, this rug features the signature deep, shaggy pile that Beni Ourain textiles are famed for. The sumptuous texture offers incredible softness underfoot and exceptional durability. The design features a medium-density pattern of geometric diamonds—an ancient Berber motif symbolizing protection and fertility—rendered in a tranquil medley of mossy greens, warm umbers, and sandy beiges. It is finished with a traditional hand-braided fringe on one end.

We offer this design in 67 distinct sizes, ranging from cozy 2x4 ft (61x122 cm) accents suitable for entryways or bedsides, up to expansive 12x18 ft (366x549 cm) statement pieces that can anchor a grand living room or open-plan dining area. Simply select your desired dimensions from the menu to begin the creation of your custom heirloom.
Care Instructions
To maintain the beauty of your wool rug, vacuum regularly using suction only (avoid rotating bristles) to reduce shedding, which is natural for new wool rugs. Spot clean spills immediately with a damp white cloth and mild wool-safe soap. For deep cleaning, we recommend professional rug cleaning.
